However, postoperative tumor recurrence and metastasis has become the most important factor affecting the efficacy of liver transplantation, which is a challenge that liver transplantation must face. In this paper, we review the indication criteria, treatment in waiting for liver, immunotherapy, tumor monitoring and recurrence treatment of liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma, providing clinical reference for clinical application of liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma.]]></description>

<title xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="text"><![CDATA[Computer 3D imaging study of hepatic artery anatomy and its significance in living donor liver transplantation]]></title>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<b>［Abstract］　Objective</b>　To study the anatomy of hepatic artery and the artery of Couinaud segment 4 by using computer three-dimensional(3D) reconstruction model, and discuss its significance in living donor liver transplantation. <b>Methods</b>　Ninety-nine cases of low obstructive jaundice in our center were performed with thin-slice enhanced computed tomography(CT) images in DICOM format. The 3D models of liver, hepatic artery, portal vein and bile duct were reconstructed by Intrasense Myrian workstation, and the descriptive anatomy of hepatic artery and A4 was studied. <b>Results</b>　The 3D reconstruction of liver, hepatic artery, portal vein and bile duct was completed in all the 99 cases. According to the modified Hiatt classification, there were 79 cases(79.8%) of hepatic artery anatomy type 1, 14 cases(14.1%) of type 2, 3 cases(3.0%) of type 3, 2 cases(2.0%) of type 4 and 1 case(1.0%) of type 5. According to Jin′s classification, the artery of Couinaud segment 4 was divided into 3 types: 38 cases(38.4%) of type 1, 52 cases(52.5%) of type 2, and 9 cases(9.1%) of type 3. <b>Conclusion</b>　There are various anatomical variations in hepatic artery and A4, which has important influence on living donor liver transplantation. Computer 3D reconstruction is a good tool to evaluate the anatomy of hepatic vessels. Preoperative computer 3D reconstruction for individualized anatomical evaluation is beneficial to surgical design and the patient′s safety.]]></description>

<title xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="text"><![CDATA[Clinical significance of CENPM expression in patients with recurrent liver cancer after liver transplantation]]></title>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<b>［Abstract］　Objective</b>　To study the correlation between the expression of the liver cancer-promoting gene centromere protein M(CENPM) in patients with recurrent liver cancer after liver transplantation and the clinical characteristics and its influence on the prognosis. <b>Methods</b>　Eighty-two patients with recurrent liver cancer after liver transplantation and 40 patients without recurrence(the nonrecurrent group) were enrolled in the study. The expression of CENPM was detected by immunohistochemical staining in the resected liver specimens. The clinical data and prognosis of the patients were collected. The differences in clinical features, recurrence characteristics and prognosis between the high expression group and the low expression group were analyzed. <b>Results</b>　The median follow-up time of the 82 patients with recurrent liver cancer was 22(8～38)months. The high expression ratio of CENPM was 70.7% in the 82 patients with recurrent liver cancer, and 50.0% in the nonrecurrent group, and the difference was statistically significant(<i>P</i>=0.025). In the patients with recurrence, the difference in disease-free survival time between the high expression group and the low expression group was statistically significant(<i>P</i>=0.036), and the overall survival time of the high expression group was significantly lower than that of the low expression group(<i>P</i>=0.019). <b>Conclusion</b>　The expression of CENPM is related to the faster recurrence and metastasis of liver cancer after liver transplantation and affects the prognosis of the patients.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<b>［Abstract］　Objective</b>　To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of in situ split liver transplantation(ISSLT) with organ donation after the death of citizens. <b>Methods</b>　The data of 7 cases of ISSLT donors and recipients undergoing the operation in the People′s Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from December 2019 to November 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. Seven donors were Chinese Class Ⅰ organ donors, including principal diagnosis of cerebral haemorrhage in 5 cases and traumatic brain injury in 2 cases, and their median age was 33 years. The length of stay in Intensive Care Unit(ICU)  was (3.4±2.5)days.  After strict evaluation, 5 out of 7 cases underwent in vivo liver splitting and 10 liver segments with independent anatomical function were obtained. Two patients gave up splitting because of anatomic variation of portal vein, and 5 cases undergoing ISSLT were all adult-child pairing. The right hepatic lobe of the liver transplantation cases in our transplantation centre were performed using the classical liver transplantation and the left hepatic lobe using the dorsal camelid liver transplantation approach. <b>Results</b>　Of the 10 recipients, the operation time was (394±58)min and the blood loss was 1 600(100～3 000)ml. As of November 2020, the median follow-up time of the recipients was 6 months, and there were no severe complications such as bleeding, biliary tract and abdominal infection and vascular complications. <b>Conclusion</b>　ISSLT can be safely performed in brain-dead donors after rigorous evaluation, with good postoperative outcomes and improved utilization rate of donor livers.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<b>［Abstract］</b>　Liver transplantation is the only effective treatment for patients with advanced liver disease. However, the operation is still limited by the number of liver donors, which makes a large number of patients with advanced liver disease waiting for transplantation miss the opportunity of operation. In this context, split liver transplantation emerges as the times require, which improves the utilization rate of the donor liver and eases the tension of the donor liver to a certain extent. The prognoses of split liver transplantation recipients at the initial stage are not ideal, and they often have a high incidence of complications. With the advancement of technology, the survival rate of split liver transplantation recipients is gradually approaching that of total liver transplantation recipients and the incidence of complications is significantly lower than before. More and more transplantation centers have taken split liver transplantation as the preferred surgical procedure. In this paper, the technique and its research progress of split liver transplantation are summarized.]]></description>
