<title xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="text"><![CDATA[Hysteroscopic myomectomy for diffuse uterine leiomyomatosis: clinical application and reproductive prognosis]]></title>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<b>［Abstract］　Objective</b>　To analyze the reproductive outcomes of patients with diffuse uterine leiomyomatosis(DUL) after hysteroscopic myomectomy(HM). <b>Methods</b>　A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 43 DUL patients with fertility requirements who received HM treatment in Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University from August 2019 to May 2025. The effectiveness and safety of HM treatment in the DUL patients and their pregnancy outcomes were analyzed. <b>Results</b>　Among the 43 DUL patients, 38 patients(88.37%) mainly presented with heavy menstrual flow and prolonged menstrual period, while 5 patients(11.63%) had no obvious symptoms. A total of 108 operations were performed on the patients, with a median of 2.0 operations. During the second hysteroscopy, intrauterine adhesions were observed in 17 cases(39.53%). Seven patients developed operative hysteroscopy intravascular absorption(OHIA) syndrome during HM, among whom 4 patients were treated with bipolar resection and 3 patients were treated with monopolar resection. No complications such as uterine perforation, massive hemorrhage and postoperative infection occurred in all the patients. A total of 41 patients were followed up after the operation, and 2 patients were lost to follow-up. The median follow-up duration was 35.00 months. The menstrual improvement rate at 3 months postoperatively was 90.24%(37/41). However, 4 patients showed no significant improvement, among whom 1 patient opted for hysterectomy. Postoperative pregnancy was achieved in 14 cases(34.15%, 14/41), with median duration of 3.00 months from the last HM to pregnancy. The live birth rate was 71.43%(10/14), with 1 case of premature delivery and 9 cases of full-term delivery. There were 5 cases of postpartum hemorrhage and 2 cases of placental adhesions. The age, body mass index(BMI) and uterine volume of the patients in the pregnancy group were significantly lower than those of the patients in the non-pregnancy group(<i>P</i><0.05). <b>Conclusion</b>　For DUL patients with fertility requirements, staged HM is a feasible and minimally invasive therapeutic strategy. Attention should be paid to the occurrence risk of OHIA syndrome during hysteroscopy and the prevention and management of postoperative intrauterine adhesions. The pregnancy of DUL patients is considered a high-risk pregnancy, and perinatal management needs to be strengthened for them.]]></description>

<title xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="text"><![CDATA[Study on correlation between clinical characteristics and prognosis of endometrial cancer with different molecular subtypes]]></title>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<b>［Abstract］　Objective</b>　To explore the correlation between clinical characteristics and prognosis of endometrial cancer patients with different molecular subtypes. <b>Methods</b>　A total of 260 patients with endometrial cancer who underwent surgical treatment in Henan Provincial People′s Hospital from July 2020 to December 2024 and had complete clinical data were included in this study. The clinical data of these patients were collected, including age at onset, reproductive status, comorbidities, body mass index(BMI), serum tumor markers, as well as postoperative histopathological types, International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics(FIGO) stages, histological grades, lymph node metastasis, myometrial invasion, lymphovascular space invasion, immunohistochemical indicators and molecular subtypes. <b>Results</b>　Among the 260 patients, there were 36 cases of POLEmut subtype(13.85%), 143 cases of NSMP subtype(55.00%), 56 cases of MMRd subtype(21.54%) and 25 cases of p53abn subtype(9.62%). There were statistically significant differences in reproductive status, BMI, serum carbohydrate antigen(CA) 724 level, histological type, lymphovascular space invasion, histological grade, Ki-67 positive expression and postoperative adjuvant therapy rate among the patients with endometrial cancer of 4 molecular subtypes(<i>P</i><0.05). Significant differences were observed in postoperative 30-month progression-free survival rate and postoperative 5-year overall survival rate among the endometrial cancer patients with POLEmut, NSMP, MMRd and p53abn subtypes(<i>P</i><0.05). <b>Conclusion</b>　The prognoses of the endometrial cancer patients with different molecular subtypes vary: the patients with POLEmut subtype exhibit the most favorable prognosis and those with p53abn subtype the worst, whereas the prognoses of the patients with NSMP and MMRd subtypes fall in between.]]></description>

<title xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="text"><![CDATA[Observation on the clinical efficacy of levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system versus dydrogesterone in treatment of perimenopausal patients with endometrial hyperplasia without atypia]]></title>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<b>［Abstract］　Objective</b>　To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system(LNG-IUS) versus dydrogesterone in treatment of perimenopausal patients with endometrial hyperplasia without atypia(EH). <b>Methods</b>　A total of 70 patients who were admitted to Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University between June 2022 and June 2025 and were pathologically diagnosed as EH were recruited as the research subjects. The patients were divided into the LNG-IUS group(receiving LNG-IUS treatment, <i>n</i>=37) and the dydrogesterone group(receiving dydrogesterone treatment, <i>n</i>=33) according to their treatment preferences. Both groups were treated for 6 months. The improvement of clinical symptoms, menstrual characteristics, endometrial thickness, endometrial regression rate and adverse reaction profiles were compared between the two groups. <b>Results</b>　Before the treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in the menstrual duration and endometrial thickness between the two groups(<i>P</i>>0.05). After the treatment of 6 months, the menstrual period was significantly shortened and the endometrial thickness was significantly decreased in both groups, and the two indicators in the LNG-IUS group were significantly lower than those in the dydrogesterone group(<i>P</i><0.05). The improvement rate of clinical symptoms(97.30% vs 93.94%) and endometrial regression rate(100.00% vs 80.00%) after the treatment in the LNG-IUS group were higher than those in the dydrogesterone group, and the incidence of adverse reactions(5.41% vs 12.12%) in the LNG-IUS group was lower than that in the dydrogesterone group, but there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups(<i>P</i>>0.05). <b>Conclusion</b>　Both LNG-IUS and dydrogesterone can effectively alleviate menstrual abnormalities and reduce endometrial thickness in patients with EH. There are no statistically significant differences in the endometrial regression rate, improvement rate of clinical symptoms and incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups, but LNG-IUS treatment shows a better trend.]]></description>

<title xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="text"><![CDATA[Study on the effects of Mongolian herb <i>Panzeria alaschanica</i> Kupr on biological behaviors of endometriotic stromal cells and its association with the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway]]></title>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<b>［Abstract］　Objective</b>　To explore the effects of Mongolian herb <i>Panzeria alaschanica</i> Kupr(PA) on proliferation, migration, invasion and apoptosis of immortalized human endometrial stromal cells(St-T1b), and to reveal its regulatory mechanism on the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/AKT) signaling pathway. <b>Methods</b>　St-T1b cells were used as experimental subjects, and a blank control group［PA(0 mg/mL)］, 2 mg/mL PA group, 4 mg/mL PA group, 8 mg/mL PA group, 740Y-P group and 8 mg/mL PA combined with 740Y-P group were established. CCK-8 assay was used to detect cell viability. Western blot was applied to detect the expressions of PI3K and AKT of cells and their phosphorylated forms. Mitochondrial membrane potential was detected by using JC-1 staining, and cell apoptosis was detected by using calcein-acetoxymethyl ester(calcein-AM)/7-aminoactinomycin D(7-AAD) double staining. Transwell assay was used to detect cell migration and invasion capacities. Reverse transcription-quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR) was performed to detect the relative expressions of B-cell lymphoma-2-associated X protein(Bax), B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2), matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2) and matrix metalloproteinase 9(MMP9) mRNAs. Rescue experiments were conducted via the intervention of 740Y-P and the results showed that the mechanism of action of PA was related to the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. <b>Results</b>　PA suppressed St-T1b cell proliferation in a dose-dependent manner(<i>P</i><0.05). Compared with the blank control group, the PA-treated groups(the 2 mg/mL PA, 4 mg/mL PA and 8 mg/mL PA groups) showed significant decreases in mitochondrial membrane potential, protein expression levels of phosphorylated phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(p-PI3K) and phosphorylated protein kinase B(p-AKT), and relative mRNA expression levels of Bcl-2, MMP2, and MMP9, as well as in cell migration and invasion capacities(<i>P</i><0.05), and the PA-treated groups showed significant increases in the apoptotic rate and relative Bax mRNA expression level(<i>P</i><0.05). Compared with the blank control group, the 740Y-P group upregulated the mitochondrial membrane potential of the cells, the protein expression levels of p-PI3K and p-AKT,  the relative mRNA expression levels of Bcl-2, MMP2 and MMP9, enhanced the cell migration and invasion capacities, as well as downregulated the apoptotic rate and relative Bax mRNA expression level, with statistically significant differences(<i>P</i><0.05). Compared with the 8 mg/mL PA group, the 8 mg/mL PA combined with 740Y-P group significantly elevated the mitochondrial membrane potential and the protein expression levels of p-PI3K and p-AKT(<i>P</i><0.05), significantly enhanced the cell migration and invasion capacities(<i>P</i><0.05), and significantly elevated the relative mRNA expression levels of Bcl-2, MMP2 and MMP9(<i>P</i><0.05), and significantly downregulated the apoptotic rate and relative Bax mRNA expression level(<i>P</i><0.05). <b>Conclusion</b>　PA can significantly suppress the proliferation, migration and invasion of St-T1b cells, and induce cell apoptosis. These biological effects may be achieved by regulating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.]]></description>

<title xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="text"><![CDATA[Targeted regulation of miR-182-5p on <i>MTSS1</i> gene and its biological significance in endometrial cancer]]></title>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<b>［Abstract］　Objective</b>　To elucidate the role of microRNA-182-5p(miR-182-5p) in the progression of endometrial cancer(EC) and to clarify its relationship with targeted genes. <b>Methods</b>　The expression levels of miR-182-5p in normal endometrial tissues and cells, as well as in EC tissues and EC cells(Ishikawa, HEC-1-A and KLE) were analyzed. The expression levels of miR-182-5p in different cells were upregulated or downregulated through transfection technology, and their effects on the malignant biological behaviors(including cell proliferative capacity, invasive capacity and migratory capacity) were evaluated by MTT cell proliferation assay, Transwell invasion assay and wound healing assay. Bioinformatics tools were used to predict the potential targeted genes of miR-182-5p, and the expressions of the targeted genes in normal endometrial tissues, EC tissues and cells were detected by using real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR) and Western blot assay. Finally, the specific molecular interaction between miR-182-5p and its targeted genes was verified by using the dual-luciferase reporter gene assay. <b>Results</b>　Compared with those in normal endometrial tissues and cells, the expression levels of miR-182-5p in EC tissues and cells were significantly increased. Transfection with miR-182-5p mimics could significantly enhance the invasion of EC cells, while their inhibitors had the opposite effect. The dual-luciferase reporter gene assay confirmed that metastasis suppressor 1(<i>MTSS1</i>) was a direct targeted gene of miR-182-5p, and the expression level of miR-182-5p was negatively correlated with that of <i>MTSS1</i> gene. <b>Conclusion</b>　miR-182-5p directly targets and negatively regulates <i>MTSS1</i> gene, and the two indicators may jointly modulate the malignant phenotypes of EC cells.]]></description>
