| 白介素(IL)-37b是最近才被命名的白介素-1家族新成员,具有强大的抗炎作用。研究发现,动脉粥样硬化性疾病患者循环和斑块内IL-37b表达显著升高,并与预后密切相关。动物实验表明,无论是内源性还是外源性IL-37b都具有显著的抗动脉粥样硬化作用。上述研究提示,IL-37b可能成为动脉粥样硬化性疾病的防治的新靶点。 |

| Abstract: |
| Interleukin-37 is a novel anti-inflammatory cytokine in the interleukin-1 ligand family．Accumulating evidence demonstrated that both circulating and local IL-37b levels are increased in patients with atherosclerotic disease and associated with an adverse outcome. Experimental studies showed that both exogenous and endogenous IL-37b protects mice from atherosclerosis. these results indicated that IL-37b may be a novel therapeutic strategy to prevent and treat atherosclerotic disease. |
