m6A去甲基化酶FTO在脂质代谢中的研究进展

摘要:
[摘要] 肥胖相关蛋白(FTO)被认为是第一个可调节体重指数和肥胖的N6-甲基腺嘌呤(m6A)去甲基化酶。FTO通过参与m6A去甲基化来调控脂质代谢相关基因mRNA的加工、翻译和成熟过程。在脂肪组织中,FTO通过参与m6A去甲基化过程促进脂肪生成并抑制脂肪分解。在肝脏中,FTO过表达导致脂质过度积累以及非酒精性脂肪肝病。在其他组织中,FTO表达异常影响脂质摄取和代谢障碍,从而导致相关代谢疾病的发生。该文对m6A去甲基化酶FTO在脂质代谢中的研究进展作一综述。

Research progress of m6A demethylase FTO in lipid metabolism

Abstract:
[Abstract] The fat mass and obesity-associated protein(FTO) is identified as the first mRNA N6-methyladenosine(m6A) demethylase that regulates body mass index and obesity. FTO regulates the processing, translation and maturation of mRNA of lipid metabolism-related genes by participating in m6A demethylation. In adipose tissues, FTO promotes lipogenesis and inhibits lipolysis by participating in the m6A demethylation process. In the liver, overexpression of FTO can lead to lipid overaccumulation and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. In other tissues, abnormal expression of FTO affects lipid uptake and metabolic disorders, leading to the occurrence of related metabolic diseases. In this paper, the research progress of m6A demethylase FTO in lipid metabolism is reviewed.
