Abstract:
[Abstract] The incidence of chronic kidney disease(CKD) is increasing year by year and CKD has become a global public health problem. Optimizing the management strategy of CKD and improving the prevention and treatment level of CKD are crucial for controlling the occurrence and development of CKD and reducing the occurrence of end-stage renal failure. In recent years, studies on the correlation between metabolic disorders and CKD have become the focus of attention in the field of prevention and treatment of kidney diseases. Insulin resistance(IR) is one of the key factors in the occurrence and development of CKD, and triglyceride-glucose(TyG) index is easy to obtain in clinical practice, and can be used as an alternative biomarker of IR and a potential biomarker for predicting CKD. Therefore, TyG index has gradually attracted attention. In this paper, the research progress on the correlation between TyG index and CKD is reviewed.
